- PDF Estimates & Billing Customer Information | Ability to put the Billing Customer on Estimate PDFs instead of the vehicle’s primary Customer.
- Isuzu Service Contract Operations | Soon, when you open a case for an Isuzu truck that has an Isuzu service contract, you can see the services the contract covers, add them to the case, and send them to Isuzu as a service contract claim.
Case V8.50.0 (Targeted for November 6th, 2026):
PDF Estimates & Billing Customer Information
Users will soon have the ability to set the Billing Customer on Estimate PDFs instead of the vehicle’s primary Customer. When a third party, such as a fleet management or billing company, is paying for the repair, the estimate they receive can now be in their name.
How it works
A new Customer Information section, with Customer and Billing Customer options, now appears in these three places:
- Print/PDF Actions
- Request Approval
- Send Estimate to Customer
Customer is selected by default, and with it the Estimate PDF looks exactly the same as it does today.
When you select Billing Customer on a case where the Billing Customer is different from the Customer:
- Page 1 shows the Billing Customer name and Billing Customer Number, followed by the Billing Customer’s address, phone and fax. The primary Customer name and Customer Number appear below that for reference.
- Every later page shows the Billing Customer name and number in the header.
- If the Billing Customer has no customer number, it shows N/A.
Good to know
- The choice is saved for each case. Once you pick Billing Customer on a case, it stays selected the next time you open any of the three dialogs.
- Restore Defaults won’t change it. That button resets only your location’s default PDF options. Your Customer or Billing Customer choice stays as it is.
- If there’s no separate Billing Customer, choosing Billing Customer has no effect and the PDF prints as usual.
- Earlier estimate versions keep their original PDF. Only new estimate versions and the current estimate PDF use the new setting.
Coming Soon:
Isuzu Service Contract Operations
Some Isuzu trucks come with one or more Isuzu service contracts. Service contracts cover certain services, like scheduled maintenance, brake service, or tire service. When you open a case for one of these trucks, soon, you will see the covered services and be able to add them to the case in a few clicks.
When the work is done, you can send these services to Isuzu as a service contract claim, so the contract pays for the work.
